Putting On The Skins

When putting on the skin of the teardrop once again use Lunanna Plywood 5mm Plywood.  I insulated the teardrop with insulation. I also used waterproof air vent duck tape to stop all water or even air from coming into the camper.  Then placed insulation, then I put on the skins.  Once again I poured water all over the wood to make it bend really easy.

Inside Of The Tear Drop

Creating the inside of the Teardrop was hard because it takes time, plus you dont have much space inside the teardrop.  I used Lunana 5mm plywood. Cost $10 at Lowes.  The key to make it bend with the teardrop is to pour water on it for about 4 minuets.  This will allow it to bend perfect with the teardrop.   I used laminate flooring for the camper.

Creating The Tail of the Teardrop

Creating the rear of the teardrop is easier than what most people say.  It just takes time and effort.  I took plywood and cut the shape of the tear.  Cut 4 strips of that rear shape and put 1 x 1 pieces of wood to holder it together.

How It Was Created!

I started creating the teardrop with a 4 x 8 trailer from Harbor Freight.  I the hardest part for me so far was creating the tear using 2 inch plywood.   I cut out two 4 x 8 in the shape that I wanted.  I only wanted one door so I cut it out on one side only.  I used 1 x1 plywood to start the shell of the frame.

Start of the teardrop

I wanted to create a teardrop camper from scratch. I have been searching tons and tons of websites for ideas.  I wanted a teardrop because I wanted it to be light and able to fit in my garage with out using alot of space. This is the start of the teardrop! JoJo's teardrop
